Beals Ice Cream was founded in 1981 by Roy Beal, who owned the original ice cream stand in Gorham, ME.  It attracted the attention of Jim Malia and his parents, Peter and Sheila Malia and they bought it as a family enterprise in 1988.  The Malia’s have been making Super Premium Ice Cream in Maine for almost 25 years.  Beals uses it’s proprietary formula for cream and only the finest ingredients.  These are what makes a super premium product that’s super creamy, delicious and what sets it apart from other dairy shops.

Beals Ice Cream has recipes for over 100 flavors and stores usually carry 65 different flavors that range from the ever popular Cookies & Cream to the unique and rich German Fudgecake!
